The daughter of Sonny Bono and Cher Bono has become a man after a surgery to transform her from womanhood to manhood. Yes it’s true so now it’s time to say bye bye to Chastity Bono and to welcome Chaz Bono. The 41-year-old Chastity Bono, who is now Chaz Bono, came out as a lesbian way back in 1995 but after some time she became dubious about her sexual orientation.
Yesterday, she went to the court and changer her name as Chaz Bono and her sex as a man after one year of her surgery. She underwent surgery last year in September to change her sex characteristics from female to male. Before her 40th birthday she started her treatment and the top surgery done in September 2009 when the doctors removed her breasts.
Chaz Bono says it’s too personal to discuss about all this and it’s his personal matter. According to Chaz the decision to change his gender was one of the best decisions of his life.
Chaz Bono is ready to start his life with a new name and gender. It seems that Chaz has no qualms about the sex changing. Though it’s not so much easy but if a woman want to change her gender then she can go ahead to fulfill her dream. Chez Bono says,
“I always felt like a male from the time I was a child. There wasn’t much feminine about me. I believe that gender is something between your ears not between your legs. That is something I discovered in the early 90s. It was just a long process of being comfortable enough to do something about it. I was turning 40 and I thought it’s now or never.”
The current process will take five years but Chaz will have to take the testosterone supplements for the rest of his life.

I think a person must have some deep rooted psychological issues to do something like this. Read the research on identifying with the aggressor as a child. its about relating with the more agressive parent. Also look up child abuse. Every person I have ever known who has this sort of "identity" issue has had a deep rooted issue with their parentents who where either too stern or not there. Welll I won't go, but look up the research and see why I argue this point. Have a nice day!

look at his weight! There's an emotional reason behind the weight, and Chaz is determined to loose some pounds. Let him live his life as he sees fit (it's the only one he's got!) and cheer him on!

I understand that this is somewhat big news and that people are interested in reading about it. On the other hand, I think people should just let him be. This type of procedure is a big deal because of all the attention it gets.
